Serpico

Serpico occurs as 1973 film which tells the true story of New York City policeman Frank Serpico who turned in his fellow policemen for corruption you said it his comrades turned against him. It stars Al Pacino, John Randolph and Jack Kehoe.

A moving picture was adapted by Waldo Salt and Norman Wexler from a book of the equivalent title by Peter Maas. It was directed by Sidney Lumet.

It was nominated for Academy Awards for Best Actor in a Leading Role (Al Pacino) and Best Writing, Screenplay Based on Material from Another Medium.

The Plot Line
Serpico becomes the pig around 1960 & was in the NYPD until resigning around 1972. Unlike his colleagues, he refuses a part of the money that the copper habitually extort from either local crook. Cipher wants to function by owning Serpico because of this & his "hippy" countercultural dress & modus vivendwe ( i.e. residing around Greenwich Village), and he's inside constant danger of existence located around life threatening positions by his "partners". Nothing seems for done potentially whilst he goes to the greatest authorities. Despite a dangers he finds himself around, he however refuses to 'last by having a flow', in a hope that of these day, the truth is known.

Serpico was manufactured into the 1976 television series starring David Birney.
